Angelica Clément

Ms. Angelica Clément practices business law with a focus on corporate, transactional and securities law. She is involved in the mergers and acquisitions process of private and public companies, both locally and internationally. More specifically, she takes part in the implementation of equity financing with reporting issuers and stock exchange listing procedures and actively participates in due diligence processes as well as in the drafting and review of complex contractual documents.

Angelica obtained her law degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal. During her bachelor’s degree, she was involved with the Confédération des associations d’étudiant(e)s en droit civil (now the Fédération des étudiantes et étudiants en droit du Québec), the Clinique juridique de l’UQAM and Pro Bono UQAM (section of the National Network of Pro Bono Students).

Prior to attending law school, Angelica obtained a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences at Université de Montréal, during which she completed a clinical research internship at the CHUM Research Centre and published an article in a scientific journal.

During her studies, Angelica worked for several years in the federal public service where she managed calls for tenders and awarded contracts for the Government of Canada, among other things. She was called to the Quebec Bar in 2019 after completing her articling with the Firm. During this period, Angelica participated in the largest recapitalization of a private corporation in Canada.
